Japan’s newly elected prime minister, Sanae Takaichi, may significantly impact the progress of integrated casino resorts (IRs) in the country. On Tuesday, Takaichi, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), was appointed as Japan’s 104th prime minister, marking history as the nation’s first female to assume the role.
