The transaction, scheduled on March 16, 2026, involves a KRW3.5 billion ($2.36 million) investment, which includes purchasing convertible bonds and providing monetary loans. The restructuring plan involves separating Blue One’s hotel and casino operations, with CSA Cosmic acquiring control of the casino division. The move follows KH Holdings’ acquisition of the former Jeju Sun property from Bloomberry Resorts for KRW7 billion, incorporating a remaining payment of KRW3 billion due by 2027. This transaction marked Bloomberry’s withdrawal from the South Korean casino market, a decision largely influenced by regulatory constraints that restrict gambling for South Korean nationals. Enrique Razon, Chairman and CEO of Bloomberry Resorts, previously expressed that the inability to cater to local gamblers has consistently hindered the potential success of Jeju Sun. In 2025, Jeju Sun’s gross gaming revenue fell to PHP6.2 million, a marked decrease from the previous year, reflecting the difficulties faced under the existing regulatory environment. Meanwhile, revenues from the hotel and food and beverage operations showed a slight increase, indicating some resilience in non-gaming segments.
